Atelier Truckee is a place for tactile living that connects artists, collectors and community through workshops, yarn, artist supplies and limited edition art pieces. The retail-studio space is nestled in historic, downtown Truckee, California, just doors down from the husband-and-wife team Brian Hess and Heather River’s flagship shop, Bespoke

Founded in 2015, Atelier offers a collection of hand-sourced 2-D prints, paintings and designer art wares and an exclusive collection of artist supplies and materials. 

Atelier strives to be the creative hub of the local art community by hosting workshops taught by the area’s most sought after artists, illustrators, designers, weavers, knitters, painters and more who share the vision to create always and inspire all.

 

HISTORY

10128 Donner Pass Road

Since 1898, 10128 Donner Pass Road has been a staple store-front in the downtown Truckee corridor. It was originally the site John Moody's Feed and Livery stables and with time became the Old Bingham Corral, the O.K. Restaurant & saloon, Charlie Siegel's butcher shop and the famous Donner Theater. It is now home to Atelier.
