Learn the basics of knitting in this two-hour beginners class. Participants will master basic stitches and learn about yarn, needles, and pattern reading. This class is intended for individuals who have never held knitting needles or for those who learned many years ago. It's never too late to start! And, stay and practice immediately following class at our weekly #knittingroup!

ABOUT AUTUMN MAILLOUX

Autumn is a local from Reno, graduated from UNR with a BS in Geology. After spending some time working in a local yarn shop, she now owns and manages a small business in the Reno area.  She loves to spend her free time hiking the local trails during the summer and for the winter she takes full advantage of the great skiing.

Autumn is fond of all art forms but her passion is knitting. She's skilled in knitting, crocheting, beading and has her hand in quilting.
