Get in the holiday spirit and grab your friends and family. Atelier Truckee has partnered with Sierra Bakehouse to bring your this very special, hands-on gingerbread house building workshop. Head Pastry Chefs, Daniella Luchian and Kristy Kirsch invite you enjoy holiday music, hot chocolate, breakfast pastries, cookies and more while you and your family construct a freshly-baked gingerbread house. Each group of participants will receive freshly made royal icing, house-made marshmallows and candies to decorate with. Take home your gingerbread creation and use it for decoration or, eat it! All supplies are provided for this workshop. One registration is valid for up to four participants. If you have more or less than four in your group, please email workshops@ateliertruckee.com.

This class has a minimum sign-up of five (5) groups of 4 persons to run. In the event the class is cancelled, all participants will be notified 24 hours in advance. Please read our NEW cancellation policy. This workshop does not have a gluten-free option.

ABOUT SIERRA BAKEHOUSE

Reno native Kristy Kirsch, who studied at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and honed her skills in Italy, and East Coaster Daniella Luchian—a CIA Hyde Park grad and alum of Gary Danko’s in San Francisco, the French Pastry School in Chicago, and Ritz-Carlton Orlando—opened this custom-order bakery in Truckee. From their Pioneer Trail location, they work on everything from wedding cakes to cupcakes. Every Friday they roll up their bakery door and sell seasonal breads, pastries and desserts from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
