ABOUT MICHELLE HASELTON

Michelle is an artist in Plumas-Sierra County, specializing in Fiber Arts and Pine Needle Basketry.  Through her wanderings in nature, she finds deep connection and inspiration for creation, translating that expression of belonging in her art.   Teaching pine needle basketry is with the intention of reviving the lost arts and with a love of connecting others with their own individual expression, while offering a space for connection with ourselves, our community and our Earth.  Her art and her classes offer an experience to connect with awareness to our natural world.  She has a B.A. of Arts and studied Weaving from the natives in New Mexico and has been creating for 17 years.
