NOV 22 // INTRO TO INDIGO SHIBORI

Learn the 8th century art of Shibori, by binding textiles using wooden shapes and twine to create stunning patterns on cotton in indigo. This workshop will explore an array of tools and techniques, to produce geometric and organic patterns on fiber. In this 3-hour class, time will be dedicated to learning the folds and binds. Guests will be able to create 1 sample piece along with an original cotton t-shirt or tote bag to take home. Your finished piece will be a wearable piece of art.

ABOUT HILARY L HAHN

Hilary L Hahn is an L.A. based textile artist, designer, and educator behind the brand. Hilary has taught fine arts for over a decade and is on the Faculty at the Brentwood Art Center.
